From Setback to Success The Inspiring journey behind Sagittarius Scent By Vaibhav Sharma

So Recently Our Founder Vaibhav Sharma Got Featured In Issuewire and during this Conversation Vaibhav Share his Life Experience About startup and about Sagittarius Scent Q1: Vaibhav, can you tell us about your journey? How did you come to establish Sagittarius Scent? Vaibhav Sharma: My entrepreneurial journey commenced with two business ventures that failed to take off. While these ventures did not yield any sustainable businesses, they surely provided me with monumental operational, risk management, and stamina training. The initial failures altered my perspective, and I eventually pivoted Sagittarius Scent to leverage those experiences. Q2: What is the mission or vision behind Sagittarius Scent? Vaibhav Sharma: The vision in itself is to develop fragrances for the newer generations of India is to make scents that capture a part of the narrative. Each scent should tell a story that provides a sense of wanderlust, a story of adventure, identity, and an emotional connection. Our tagline, “Scent of Generations,” stands out in stating that we seek to develop fragrances with strong personality and profound experiences, not mere trends. Q3: What makes Sagittarius Scent stand out when compared to traditional perfume brands within the country? Vaibhav Sharma: Many brands within the country are either aged imports with steep prices or simply out of touch with the emotions and desires of youthful consumers. What makes us stand out is working with small batches and every fragrance is created with an emotional theme of either romance, adventure, or rebellion. Q4: product development process Vaibhav Sharma: Inspiration starts with emotion. It could be a place, a distant memory – the mountains, an ocean, the change of spring. Perfumer’s secret: join the team and develop a conceptual masterpiece with notes from top, middle, to base. We sample in small and medium batches, gather feedback, and iterate. Each scent’s story, the entire story of the scent’s experience and the name of it, is concluded in the design of the bottle. We communicate with our users, mostly on the internet, to explain the scent and its narrative. Q5: Why Gen Z? Vaibhav Sharma: A lot of our competitors simply do not care about this group of people, the perfume’s are simply just not impressive, and the story’s behind the product do not encourage the youth. Q6: What challenges did you face in the early days and how did you overcome them? Vaibhav Sharma: Some key challenges: Logistics and Supply — How to source quality raw materials within budget.. Reputation and Brand Awareness — How to make the public give us a shot as a new emerging brand. Growth without losing core aspects — How to keep the craft feel in small batches as the volume increases. The challenges were tackled by staying small and using the level of detail in storytelling to frame the narrative around social media and community building while being open about what we do. Q7: What’s next for Sagittarius Scent? Vaibhav Sharma: Extending the range of fragrances, adding body and home scents, and making new collaborations with creators. We also intend to improve our sales network in India before starting a gradual international expansion. Q8: What do you think you would tell a new entrepreneur in the luxury / lifestyle industry? Vaibhav Sharma: All failures should be taken as a lesson to be learned, have a vision and stay connected to it, respect your audiences, and maintain the standard of quality as well as touch with genuineness. There is a story to be told and it is as important as the product.
